RARE, VINTAGE, JAPAN, SEIKO 6119-7143 MENS, 21 JEWEL, FULLY WORKING, Automatic WRISTWATCH.
Description: Caliber 6119 was one of Seiko’s most successful movements. It was first created in the 1960s and released in three different versions: 6119A, 6119B and 6119C – 6119A was the oldest. Caliber 6119A is easily identified by the two screws that hold the rotor. Later calibers 6119B and 6119C only hold the rotor with a thick central screw.
Like all Seiko gears, it is built for reliability and durability. Its Diashock shock protection guarantees sufficient impact resistance, and its eccentric ball bearing rotor provides sufficient and reliable power. This movement, which uses 21 gems, has five functions: hours, minutes, seconds and day of the week. Day of the week can be advanced, set the time back and forth for several hours. The factory head has only two positions.
